The “Smart’n Up” Black Male Summit is a Community-based motivational and educational summit designed to address the unique needs of Black men and boys. This is an opportunity to expose young Black males to empowering information, positive role models, potential mentors and critical resources to help them survive and succeed in an adverse society. We do not sugar coat our subject matter at the Black Male Summit. Our message is strong.
Driven by the belief that every individual deserves a chance to grow and succeed, Candice founded THE ENCORE to bring transformative programs and life-affirming experiences to underserved communities. Under her leadership, the organization champions education, empowerment, and holistic well-being — nurturing resilience and opening doors to lasting positive change.
Our vision is to empower people to attack poverty in their life and community by strengthening under-resourced communities through spiritual growth, education, revitalization, and basic needs.
